The Image-Based Comprehension Bundle contains all 20 themed resources, giving pupils repeated opportunities to develop the fundamental skills that underpin successful reading comprehension.

Rather than beginning with a traditional written passage, each resource uses a detailed, information-rich image. Pupils must look carefully, skim and scan, identify relevant details and retrieve information to answer a range of questions.

This removes much of the decoding demand associated with traditional comprehension and allows pupils to concentrate on the comprehension skills themselves.
