The Vocabulary Ninja Whole School Spelling System is a comprehensive spelling resource, which has been designed to save huge amounts of time, improve spelling outcomes and allow a consistent approach across the whole school. The resource is uncompromisingly simply, it is designed to take the time out of resourcing spelling. Each week has a 40 page spelling resource which includes everything you need to resource spelling and implement a consistent system and approach across the whole school.
The spelling system is included within whole school subscriptions or can be purchased separately.

HOW DOES IT WORK? WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
Each week has a new spelling rule to introduce and a complete spelling pack that includes everything you need to resource spelling. As outlined below, each weekly pack includes: an introductory rule and word bank, homework sheet, look, write, cover activities, printable flash cards, printable display slips, testing activities and fun spelling activities. Over 40 pages of resources every week.
RULE OVERVIEW AND WORD BANK
Each weekly pack introduces a spelling rule, gives a clear explanation of the rule and provides a spelling bank of 20 words where the spelling rule can be applied. This sheet should be used to introduce the spelling rule and then sent home to support parents at home, possibly alongside the homework sheet and printable flash cards.
HOMEWORK SHEET
Homework sheets are a new addition to the weekly spelling packs. With 7 different variations, this resource is the perfect resource to send home for pupils to learn a rule, but also use to learn the words to. This helps parents engage in learning without them need a huge amount of subject knowledge or understanding. A brilliant addition and one that will have a huge impact for parents, teachers and schools.
LOOK, WRITE, COVER SETS
Look, Write, Cover and Check is your classic spelling activity. This have been provided in many variations to help you keep spelling fresh and engaging in the class and at home. These resources can be printed. Great to use in the classroom or home. Pupils are required to write the spelling in 9 different variations. Fun to use and easy to resource.
PRINTABLE FLASH CARDS
Each spelling is provided on a printable flash cards which can be used in the classroom or sent home for pupils to use as part of their learning of spellings at home. This sheet could also be trimmed along the line and then used as quick and simple flash cards. Super simple, but a super effective, time saving tool to support your teaching and learning of spelling.
PRINTABLE DISPLAY SLIPS
Each of the words from the spelling bank are pre-populated onto A4 paper, so that you can quickly print the whole set of words and display them effectively within you classroom. This is a great resource and allows you to effectively and efficiently reference your spellings throughout the week. What a great way to encourage and reference spellings throughout the week.
WEEKLY TESTING RESOURCES
Each weekly pack has all of the resources you need to deliver the test at the end of the week including a variety of answer sheets and even differentiated lists of words to test pupils on which increase in difficulty. This section can be used to extend pupils using the 3 additional words included that are in addition to the work bank.
VARIOUS PRINTABLE ACTIVITIES
This section is standard in each pack and provides a multitude of different printable activities that you could give to pupils in your care. Each activity is simple to administer and helps keep the spelling routine in your class on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fresh and purposeful! Also great for homework, intervention and general spelling work.
