Reviews

I honestly cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is brilliant, so accessible and informative. As a supply teacher, it is great for a quick recap for unexpected lessons or for forgotten grammar! Great progression grids, assessment tasks etc. As a whole school progression, it’s easy to follow, but equally to dip in for revision lessons. The assessment is built in well. The model sentences would save planning time as it’s all there. Would be invaluable for teacher training. Mrs N Richardson (5 Star Amazon Review)

Once again, the ‘Ninja’ has created a comprehensive support for those of us in the classroom. Great to be able to dip into for us more experienced classroom teachers for a quick idea or, as my colleague said, “A beauty for my student to dive into. Well done to all involved. Highly recommended. Mrs R Porter (5 Star Amazon Review)

Like all ‘Ninja’ products, this book is thoughtfully put together and full of practical advice for improving teaching and learning in primary education. I feel like this encapsulated (and spelt out, incredibly clearly) what I’ve been thinking about primary English lessons for years. It’s *not* about creativity – that will come when children have mastered the basics. Children just want to be taught what to do to be successful (regardless if it’s boring or not – e.g. timetables!). I highly recommend this book to any primary teacher, but particularly English or curriculum leads. Amazon Customer (5 Star Amazon Review)
